Improve your Vista's network speed
Windows Vista by default supports IPv6 protocol. Actually, there is very small number of internet providers support it those days. So, each time you are requesting any DNS address, your Vista trying to get it by IPv6 protocol, and after timerout by your old good IPv4. So just unselect checkbox of IPv6 support in your network card properies and Vista will work much faster with each internet query. Good luck ;)
